We were selected to design, supply, install, and commission the sprinkler system throughout the new building within complicated racking systems, including roof and in-rack protection plus steelwork column sprayers and protection to conveyers.
The system is designed to comply with BS EN12845 and the LPC rules, including technical bulletin 234 for the Sprinkler system. We installed just over 11,000 sprinkler heads throughout the state-of-the-art facility over 9 months. Water supplies consisted of 1x 1,160m 3 sprinkler water storage tank and two LPC-approved fire pumps rated at 6000 l/min.
