Our transportation systems, communication networks, utilities and energy facilities are critical to keeping our country operating smoothly, and it’s essential they are comprehensively protected from the risks of fire and intrusion.

This is something we have wide experience with. We have delivered complex systems for unique environments such as airports, power plants and waste management facilities. Very specific types of risks, such as large spaces containing combustible materials, are often found in these environments, and we use Building Information Modelling (BIM) and 3D modelling at the design stage to tackle these risks.

Our detection team will typically propose thermal imaging cameras to provide highly accurate, early indication of a potential fire – very useful tools for areas where combustible materials are stored, such as recycling plants.

We can also provide bespoke solutions to achieve higher levels of security. These include hostile vehicle mitigation systems such as anti-ram barriers for transport hubs or access control systems with two-factor authentication and more advanced encryption.
